Just got the following email that will be of great interest to many of you:

Hello to all.

I just wanted to let you know this is the last week to enroll in the intensive, connective language Spanish class I will teach at Colorado Heights University (CHU) on Wednesdays, 6-8:30pm, from Aug. 17, 2011 to Dec. 14, 2011.

This is not your traditional Spanish class. This is a class focusing on professional adults who want or need to learn Spanish quickly and painlessly. At the end of the semester, participants will be able to spontaneously use and understand hundreds of Spanish words and they will have a solid understanding of Hispanic/Latino issues and culture.

Please, note this is the equivalent of a 3-credit college class, and credits are available for those who need them.

The methodology we used is commonly referred as TPR COLA, that is, total physical response, contextualized and optimized language acquisition. This methodology was adapted by Dr. Gaye Jenkins, of Buena Vista, Colorado, for adults learning Spanish in Colorado. I ahve been using this methodology for many years, and since 2009 here in Colorado.

For more information, please call Marina at 303-937-4247. For information about CHU, please visit www.chu.edu. CHU is located at 3001 S. Federal Boulevard, in Denver.

Finally, please feel free to share this information with others who may be interested in learning Spanish in a non-traditional, but effective way.

Many thanks (Muchas gracias.)

Francisco
