As we kick back in relative comfort on this 4th of July, we should not forget that we each have responsibilities to this democracy. In this video, Richard Dreyfuss is endorsing the SOS March: Save our Schools, and he reminds us that our freedom is inextricably linked with the work of teachers. Let’s not forget that democracy is created in our classrooms.
