Great stuff for you to read today!

• First, this is in Spanish, but Denver City Councilman Paul López, District 3, reads to his daughter, Nayeli, as part of DOCA’s One Book, One Denver contest.  It’s great to see him setting the example for southwest Denver parents.  Check it out!
• A good read, albeit from last year, that talks about the extent of corporate influence in our public education system.  It’s strongly worded but clear.
• Parents at the Ricardo Flores-Magon Academy in Westminister stand up for their children.  Good for them!
• The modus operandi of the NCLB-fueled corporate education “reform” process.  Great article.
• KidPower is giving two free webinars on how to keep kids safe from bullying and abuse in youth sports.  Check it out!
