Southwest Denver, thank you for providing enough resources to DPS so that I could attend the National School Boards Association conference in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago. I learned an awful lot about federal laws and teaching and learning, but I also got the chance to listen to Daniel Pink in person. Thank you, thank you.
Daniel Pink is a former speechwriter and journalist, and his new book, Drive, is about the science behind what actually motivates us to do our best. It has drastic implications for how we educate our students and how we get our teachers to do so, and I would like DPS to use this science on a broader scale and use collaborative reform to make best use of the resources provided by you, Mr. and Ms. Taxpayer.
Watch, and let’s discuss this.
